Book Proposals
Thank you for your interest in SurfMaps, Inc.! If you have a book idea we want to hear from you. We specialize in adventure travel maps and guides that focus on the ocean, primarily surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, sea kayaking, fishing, sailing, scuba diving, beaches, beach resorts and anything else you can do at the beach.
Please only send submissions appropriate to our publishing list and include the following:
1. A summary of the proposed work.
2. Who is the audience, who is the competition and why is your book going to be a better product?
3. A table of contents for the book, and a sample chapter so we can get a feel for your writing style.
4. Include your bio and credentials. What makes you the expert in this field?
5. Best practices suggests that you send a self-addressed, stamped envelope large enough to return your materials. Note, if this is not enclosed, we will not return your submissions. Please, never send the only copy of anything!
